Mobile home managers exit

I have a question. I am a manager and live on sit in Calif. I have been here a couple of years now. My concern is…when you decide to retire for example in 8yrs or so…where do you live? Is is normal for the prop mgmnt company to help a mgr find housing in the park or how does any of this work.

I have a few California parks. There are several ways a manager can exit. Typically, employees are responsible for finding their replacement housing. We have management contracts in place that state the managers’ homes and their occupancy are contingent upon employment at the park. There is also a 30-day move-out clause.

Sounds like you are quite a way from retirement. Now is probably a good time to start saving up for moving and relocating expenses.

I suggest you bring this concern to your supervisor’s attention to see if they have any means of assisting you.
