Well the new year is starting off with all kinds of fun. Never thought it would happen to us but in fact we have proof - rent pmt receipts signed by the manager but not deposited. DA says we have to start by calling the sheriff. Process seems straightforward but thought I would ask for any pitfalls or advice for those of you unfortunate enough to have this experience. Total documented loss so far is approx $2000 but there could be more. Thanks for any comments. (Of course we have a new manager now).
