Understand that the LLCs making the purchase should be incorporated in the state in which the park is located. Do most people incorporate their separate mgmt co entities in the state of their respective residence? Any rules on this? For some reason I feel like you might be obligated to incorporate this entity where you reside. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
That’s what I did (Management LLC where I reside). Where is the managerial “work” being done? You’ll be obeying this state’s laws (presumably) in your “nexus of operations.” You may need a permit (license d/b/a registration etc) to work in another state but being a landlord is generally not “work” I don’t think.
