Looking for creative ideas for filling up 45 empty lots with new or fairly new mobile homes. All utilities are in place and lots are big. I’m new to the CASH program and have ordered my first two homes, with the first to be delivered in the next week. While I like this option, I’d rather not have the extended liability of a 15 year note, in such case that a buyer defaults. Current lot rent is $200 per month. Ideas include:
- Offering a $1,500 “moving allowance” to local MH dealers or their buyers for homes moved into our community, with a two year stay obligation.
- Advertise that “we will move your home for free” (1995 and newer units)
