I am a long-time follower but first-time poster to this list. I own a small mobile home park (20 units) in a small town in Central Florida. Almost all of my tenants pay me in cash and do not have bank accounts. This can be pretty labor intensive for me (not to mention the security issues). I am looking for some kind of system whereby tenants make payments to some sort of bank or payment center. I admit to being a little bit stumped on this one. I believe there is a gas station in town that takes payments for the local electrical utility (Tampa Electric). There is also a bank (Suntrust) and a credit union in town. I have considered opening 20 different savings accounts but am not sure this is feasible.
Any ideas or feedback would be welcome and appreciated.
