Hello, just evicted a tenant so I have a judgement. How do I go about filing a collection on their credit report? I’d prefer to give the debt over to a collection agency and let them handle it. Although they owe me more, the judgement is for $1,100.So how do I go about turning it over to a collection agency, if one will take it?? I know it’s unlikely I’ll ever see any money, but I feel the next guy has the right to know who they’re dealing with so it’s just the right thing to do.Thanks in advance.

they do contingency and fee based and report to credit agencies. you are right that you probably wont see any money but it is a heads up to their potential next victim. also if they file bankruptcy you may get a notice but again no money.
