It’s always great to receive a voice mail from the local police, requesting that you call back so that they can inform you of an “incident” at the mobile home park. I called back and found out that my manager’s husband beat up another guy in the park and was arrested. Also found out that this occurred 5 days ago. My manager didn’t inform me of anything ever happening.
How do I handle this situation? Fire my manager? Put her on probation? She has done a decent job and knows the tenants well - her and her family have lived there for 10 years. But now, because of her husband, they have set a terrible example for the other residents. I’m sure many of them are afraid of him.
Wish I had another person that lives in the park that could be the new manager, but I really don’t have anyone I can think of right away.
