Fibrous cement Sewer Pipes

Hi,

We are looking into an MHP and the sewer pipes are made of fibrous cement. How good are they with regards to quality and longevity?

There’s a similar post below about concrete pipes. I would not at all be afraid of cement pipes.

I’m a licensed inspector for over 25 years. As long as the pipe is relatively smooth on the interior it’s good to go for many decades.

The only possible downside I could think of would be that it often was made with asbestos. It would NOT be considered “friable” asbestos, but may require special care when replaced.
