Sometimes I get too involved to see things clearly, that is why this forum is so valuable.
I have a tenant who has really milked the whole COVID thing and is in arrears 6 months. They have applied for a county program that will pay their back rent (All monies are paid directly to the landlord). They are also on a rent credit program. Caution, here comes my bias…should our tax dollars help pay for their home? That is, should monies received from a federal grant program be counted towards rent credit?
