Hey everyone,
I’m under contract to purchase a 40 space park in Illinois. We are currently looking at our options to fix the water lines since the usage is running just over 100 dollars per occupied lot. We may want to replace all the lines in the park. If this is what we choose to do, we would like to propose to the city that they take over the billing directly to each tenant.
This might be a long shot, but I’ve heard of a few other investors having success working with the city to take over the water billing. Any advice on how best to approach this and convince the city to go for this plan?
