Do you require the tenant to pay a service fee or deposit when you assist with coordinating the move of their home into your park?
No. Coordinating a move is admin work that is part of the business, and there really is not much to coordinate. They hire the mover and the mover gets the permit. They contract for the utility services directly. You just make sure they pass a background check, that their home meets your standards, and it is setup correctly.
On the contrary, we have offered to pay thousands of dollars for their move so they move into our park instead of the neighbor’s park.
