I have heard that a boot can be put on an RV to keep a tenant from taking off without paying.
I want to do something similar for the homes I’ve financed. I have a very difficult tenant that is refusing to sign the lease and is breaking rules, but he owes me for the house. Sooo, if I evict I want to make sure they don’t just take off with it, it’s happened before.
In my (limited) experience problem tenants who aren’t paying their rent or are causing problems don’t have the funds and organization to hire a mover and pay thousands of dollars to move the home
If it is a full size mobile home all you need to do is require that axils and the tong be removed after the home is set. Those added costs to move will make it out of their range to make moving a home feasible.
