Friends -Do you run background checks on Lonnie Dealers moving homes into your parks? My newest Lonnie Dealer is not going to be living in the mobile home; he will not be a resident. He is, however, liable for the lot rent in the event a tenant of his does not pay, and will be signing a ‘backstop’ lease to that effect. All his prospective tenants will, of course, fill out our application for a background check. But should I run a background check on him?Thoughts?-jl-
