Zoning on RV overnights?

For this example, if you have 4-5 acres of land in the city, zoned Ag,
what kind of zoning would one be looking at for the purpose of “short-term” RV space rental? Is this realistic in city limits?

Every city is different, but the major metropolitans have RV zoning for “transient usage” for what is commonly described as overnight usage or < three months stay in a space. The zoning ordinance will define these categories more clearly.

It is realistic, but you will need to understand the city’s goals for these RV Parks to approve a change in zoning. Have the “meeting before the meeting” with each voting member to make sure you know the result and can adjust your approach (if needed) before it goes to a formal hearing.
