So this is the first tax time with MH parks under my belt… My Tax person has no experience in MHP… I have apartment complexes that I depreciate the buildings over the useful life… What can I depreciate in MHPs? I have a few old homes that I’ll do (even thought they aren’t worth much, and a few outbuildings that I’ll assign some value to). Obviously the land doesn’t depreciate, but can I depreciate the infrastructure? Like the water, sewer, electric lines? If so whats a reasonable value?
