Submeter well water? Replace well water with city water if no major problems?

I am making an offer on a park with 2 wells on the property. The agent let me know there are two city water taps at the front of the property. The park is next to a lake, so there is never a lack of water.

Is there a reason to convert to city water if everything is working?

Can you sub-meter well water and bill it back in Oklahoma?

Yep, you can submeter in Oklahoma. I wouldn’t convert unless 1) The water quality is so bad that you’re constantly exceeding EPA limits; 2) the cost of service greatly outweighs what the city could provide; or 3) The wells have a history of running dry.

The cost to convert will not be cheap so the above have to be pretty severe.
