Questions a landlord cannot ask in PA

Hi,

Are there laws (Federal or local - Pennsylvania) which ban a landlord to ask his tenants about their monthly income?
We asked all our tenants to fill a tenant information form. Some of our tenants rejected to fill “monthly income” field saying there is the law, which bans a landlord from asking that information (tenants couldn’t mention the exact law but they stated that it exists).
Does anybody know what law is it?

You need to study your state landlord tenant regulations. The regulations will include everything you need to know. If it is not in the regulations it does not exist.
Landlords are required to know their regulations.
