Paving help to get though a couple years

Hi. Looking for help/opinions on what I can do to limp though a couple years w this road.

That’s is a pretty good example of fatigue cracking, referred to as alligator cracking. The subbase has failed, usually due to poor installation or heavier loads than it was designed for. There is not much you can do to fix this besides removing the asphalt down to the gravel, fixing the subbase, and then re-paving.

Not sure of your timeline, but I don’t think temporary solutions would be a good use of money on this one. If you just try to seal coat it or mill and overlay, you will likely see these cracks migrate through the new surface within 6-12 months. Good news is that it can’t get much worse, so waiting a while shouldn’t be a huge concern.

I agree with Clearwell, don’t put a band aid on this. You will have to mill and pave in the end.
