We had a meth lab bust in one of our parks in Oklahoma. This was a park owned home but was paid off so we signed over the title (Now I know how he got the money to pay it off), but I’m not sure if they registered the home in their name (many times they don’t).
Questions: 1) Can these meth homes be saved? This one is a 1982 2 bed 1 bath so not an expensive home but I hate to lose it out of the park. 2) Assuming it can’t be saved, I don’t think we can just have it hauled off since we no longer own the home? A quick search on Oklahoma law says there is is no specific law requiring the landlord (property owner) to clean it up. Any experiences or comments would be helpful.
