Measuring Lots during Due Diligence

What’s the easiest, yet accurate way to measure lots, set backs, etc during a due diligence walk through of a park? Is it a measuring wheel? And if so, will it work on/in the snow?

I think it depends on for what purpose. If this is just for your own knowledge for what size a home will fit, measuring wheel. Google earth also has a measuring tool on it that you can use.

If its something more important like the homes are spaced 24 feet apart and your setbacks are 25 feet ( i.e. precision is of great relevance) , i would get your survey with all the homes and distances between homes ( boundary lines etc) .

Thank you for the response. I will speak with the city/zoning/fire first to determine to what level I need to dig at this point.
