Grandfathering Question - Pennsylvania

The park was built-in late 60’s. We bought the park last year. There was no need for park license before but they introduce it this year. I understand that we need to comply with this and we have no problem to apply for the license and get one. However, they want us to comply with all rules like new roads, lighting, sewer connection and etc. up to the township standards. If we do not have everything up to their standards, they will not issue the license to operate the park. Could you please advise what to do?

You don’t say whether it’s the city or county or who the “they” is.

Get in touch with a municipal lawyer. Or get in touch with “their” legal department and have a conversation about “grandfathering.”
