Fema trailers

Has anyone had any dealing with the fema units being offered for sale. Example, 14 X 64, 2006 model, 3 bedroom, one bath for $10,000. Are these decent units or junk? I have several rent houses and want to expand into mobile homes, as I have two lots available. Thanks.

I’ve got the same question. I’m looking at a FEMA trailer to move into my Park wondered what the downfalls of them are. The owner says it has small bedrooms. Can anybody chimed in their experience with FEMA homes? Thanks

Some had issues with formaldehyde

I don’t know , I’ve never owned one, know some parks that have filled up with them when clearing out after a storm.

My only concerns would be perhaps a more transient tenant on some of these smaller boxes?

Also, theres going to be a stigma that is a fema home.

Think if you had a whole park of them , seems like it should necessitate some type of discount right?

Also if its for smaller lots just knowing the limitations on what you can sit there in the future.

Def wouldn’t be opposed to them sprinkled , personally.

Those are the only comments I have on that.

You might want to read the disclaimers and information on the FEMA website…

Good deal, yep will look at the website. Much appreciated.

With a little modification they would probably be perfect for a adult only retirement community.
Reno into a two bed with a master bathroom/walk in closet.
