I'm under contract to purchase a park, and just got the title prelim back.
In addition to all of the standard easements (electric, gas, water, etc) there is an easement from 1990 to 'KN Energy Inc for Construction, Operation, and maintenance of pipeline'
After doing some googling around KN Energy Inc was bought up by a big pipeline company in 1999.
I would assume if this easement was of any value to the pipeline company they would have done something with it over the past 27 years.
I plan on having the surveyor map out this easement so we can see where it runs. I was just curious if anyone else had experienced something like this before and had any advice.
