Do I need a license to sell homes in my Kansas park?

Hi All,

I’m new to this forum and new to the business.

I’m preparing to close on a park in Wichita, KS. The park has 9 vacant spaces and I plan to purchase 9 used homes to bring in and sell on a rent-to-own program. I have contacted the Kansas MH association and the Kansas Department of Revenue but neither one of them know if I need a license. Since they are clueless that means no license is needed right?

Hi David,

I have a park under contract in Wichita now. I know Thisbe post is from years ago, but any advice you can give me on bringing in homes to do rent to own or sell out right? I have 30 vacant spaces I need to fill quickly.
